Effective help for the challenges of life.
Thornton_Low_Resolution_Files_April_2019

Human Givens is a fast, effective approach to counselling which responds flexibly to the needs of the client.  I can particularly help with depression, anxiety and anxiety-related conditions, panic attacks, trauma, PTSD, anger management, phobias, social and performance anxiety, self-esteem, guilt and shame, stress, self-harm and counselling for adults and teens.

The therapy draws on a wide range of proven skills, techniques and knowledge drawn from respected therapeutic interventions and from academic disciplines such as neurobiology, sociology, anthropology and psychology. Combining these with fresh insights pioneered by Human Givens research, we can work together to find the best tools to suit your needs. I am also a trained mindful self-compassion teacher.

Research demonstrates that Human Givens therapy works quickly and effectively – on average initial goals are met in four to six sessions.
